Mantis is free but copyright software made available to the neuroimaging community on an “as is” basis. No support or maintenance is provided or implied.

There are two types of software in Mantis:

1. Matlab code using SPM infrastructure. This code is distributed under the same license as the rest of SPM - namely the GNU General Public Licence as published by the Free Software Foundation. Further details on “copyleft” are available at http://www.gnu.org/copyleft/

2. C++ source code using the Insight Segmentation and Registration toolkit (ITK). This code is distributed under the same terms as ITK, namely the Apache 2.0 license.
